Swing for Scholarships
2011 Tournament a Success!
Thank you for your generous support of the Reich College of Education's 6th Annual Swing for Scholarships Golf Benefit held on September 29th. Over one hundred golfers played the Jones Course at Rock Barn Golf & Spa. While last year's tournament raised enough money for four scholarships, the 2011 tournament earnings provided eight scholarships for undergraduate teacher education majors. We are grateful to our presenting sponsor, the RCOE Advancement Board, for their leadership giving as well as the countless hours devoted to making the tournament a success.
A special thank you is also warranted to our corporate sponsors Blue Ridge Electric, WJ Office, and John and Elizabeth Bumgarner along with Flow Cadillac of Winston-Salem as our hole-in-one sponsor and the twelve hole sponsors, ten partial hole sponsors, and four refreshment sponsors.
